The WasteGuard? yellow theatre is designed to be used upright to ease the disposal of long instruments such as staple guns as well as chest drains. It is ideal for theatres, acute medical areas and X-ray departments but is not recommended for high public access areas. It comes fully factory assembled, has a temporary closure for in between use and a secure permanent closure for safe transportation. The robust pail handle allows for easy transportation and each container includes an absorbent pad to minimise the risk of any leakage. Accessories include the WasteGuard? theatre mobile holder DD562, and free standing stand DD561. Manufactured to AS4031-1992. WasteGuard? yellow is a similar range of containers to WasteGuard? orange, with the added advantage that they can also be used to dispose of sharps contaminated with medicinal products and their residues other than cytotoxic and/or cytostatic medicines. The WasteGuard? yellow range is designed to be incinerated or disposed of by other authorised processes. To ensure the containers are safe and simple to use, the opaque doors clearly show when the door is in the temporary or fully closed position. The WasteGuard? yellow range is manufactured to the most stringent quality and safety standards: conforming to AS4031-1992, BS7320:1990, UN3291, AFNOR FX 30-500 and ISO 9002. Increased anti-tamper system. Part of a Colour ID Segregated Safety System. Increased usable volume benefit with each bin. Significant volumetric pre issue space saving. Stackable once filled.
